Human. Tinkerer. Anime Lover
I am first a human, constantly learning and exploring through life.
I am a tinkerer, I have been many faces but I have always been a designer and researcher fascinated about human experiences its various form.
My journey in design began pretty early with creating websites and UIs when I was in secondary school. I was particularly fascinated with understanding the relationship between humans and tools, and the interfaces used to communicate between these two worlds, going on to study a BSc in Computer Science, MSc in Human-Computer Interaction and PhD in HCI too, specialising in embodied cognition.
I combine my love for well crafted interfaces with a deep curiosity for understanding and organising human behavioural data to create experiences that solve tangible problems.
I see the human experience both digital and non-digital as a collection of stories and this extends to my design philosophy; "to tell the story of the everyday person using technology as one of many media". I guess that makes me an user anthropologist.
Well, and I always find time to watch a good anime :)
